Apex/Utilities Platform
Besides the core modules for forecasting, monitoring and integration,
Apex/Predictor has a Apex/Utilities Platform (or Apex/UP) that performs a range of services like work flow execution, system maintenance and other services. Some of the key utilities are:

Workflow Agent: Manages client workflow activities like forecast approval.

Publishing Agent: Publishes reports, charts, graphs, alerts, status, etc.

"Narrow" casting Agent: Delivers reports, charts, graphs, alerts, status and other information over e-mail, WAP, Mobile Phones.

Scheduling Agent: Maintains and executes scheduled events like "Nightly Cleanup" for system administration.
